Corsa Motoclassica: With Low Horsepower Comes Little Responsibility

Vintage gear heads from across the U.S. found their way to the dry desert mountain air of Rosamond, CA, to take part in the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association’s annual Corsa Motoclassica at Willow Springs International Raceway. Fueled by high-octane gas, low-grade beer, great courage, and limitless American ingenuity, our speed freak friends from the Venice Vintage Motorcycle Club, BA Moto, the Cretans, and the East Side Moto Babes all took to the tarmac to put their trusty iron steeds to the test. Bikes like the Triple Nickel and the Cocktail Machine screamed around the long sweepers and tight corners to the best of their creaky, leaky, 40-year-old abilities while their small but dedicated legion of fans cheered, drank, and camped their asses off. It was a bit like walking out of a time machine, but with fantastic 3G coverage.
